My Story

Already in the advanced physics course at high school, challenging experiments to determine the speed of light or gravitational constant shaped me. The resulting certificates are still recognized by technical universities in Germany as equivalent to university modules.
My university studies encompassed geosciences combined with computer science, business administration, and demography. I gained practical experience in geoinformatics early on at a major mobile communications company. I’m particularly pleased that a German candidate for the next moon mission is also a geoscientist – a field that has shaped my career as well.
I completed my diploma thesis and my PhD in Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) part-time alongside a full-time position at Volkswagen AG with Karlsruhe Research Center, and TU Darmstadt. This practical training still forms a solid basis for quickly familiarizing myself with new technical innovations.
Through projects on sustainability, change, and innovation management (both in industry and consulting), I found my way into patent law. I completed my training as a European Patent Attorney in Munich at a Japanese firm, followed by qualification as a German Patent Attorney via the classic practical route.

In my now 20-year professional practice in technical roles, I have built practical know-how at over 30 industrial sites. This direct contact with technology and the ability to empathize with diverse production problems enable me to work value-adding for you immediately. In addition to solid technical knowledge, I can trace your path from idea to practice and thus help you precisely in creating and defending your IP rights.
With over 10 years of professional experience in patent law and broad technical expertise – acquired directly from industry practice, unlike many purely academic paths – I advise and represent you comprehensively in patent matters – from the invention idea to enforcing your IP rights.
Let’s talk about your IP strategy.
A structured initial discussion provides clarity on risks, opportunities, and strategic options.
